Message Put the car in O2 diagnostic mode (Mode II, per the faq under 'Pages ->
Tech -> ECU Diagnostics'). Likely, the diagnostic test will show that the
sensors aren't reading properly (either flashing too quickly or, most
likely, too slowly). Sometimes this is simply from carbon buildup that
can be burnt off.

Run the normal ecu diagnostics (Mode I) to make sure the coolant
temperature sensor is working.

In case there is carbon build up, the following may or may not be a
permanent solution, but it's worth a try: let the car warm up for several
minutes, then go for a drive and keep the rpms steady between 3-4k
rpms. Keep an eye on the temp gauge just in case you have any cooling
issues. Do this for a constant 5 minutes. Then drive normally for a few
minutes to cool the car off. Park and retest the O2 sensors. If there's
no change, get new O2's now and stop wasting gas and dirtying up the
motor.
